If you have (or are) a Star Wars and Anime fan in your life then this book could be the ideal gift.

3. Light of the Jedi by Charles Soule (Del Rey)

This year marked the beginning of a new era of Star Wars with the High Republic publishing project, set hundreds of years before the Skywalker saga. The Republic and the Jedi are at their peak, and have to deal with a threat unlike anything we’ve seen before. The High Republic is already an intimidating prospect for new readers but Light of the Jedi is the perfect entry point, and unlike the rest of Star Wars, not knowing all of canon won’t hold anyone back from enjoying this book.

4. The Star Wars Archives Episodes I-IV 1977-83 Taschen 40th Edition (Taschen)

Last, but most definitely not least, is a book that you simply cannot go wrong with, any Star Wars fan will adore this tome. The original book by Paul Duncan, although beautiful, is a little out of reach for the average holiday gift, but this condensed version released for Taschen’s 40th anniversary is an absolute steal at £20. It features 500 images including concept art and behind-the-scenes photographs as well as interviews with George Lucas and cast and crew about the making of the Original Trilogy.
